Educational Opportunity Grants

The AAW would like to assist you in your woodturning education by providing EOGs to those with a woodturning project planned.

Professional Outreach Program (POP)

In addition to listing the current AAW Demonstrators, this has been expanded to include professional turners, teachers, writers, collectors and gallery owners and managers and has been enhanced by adding search features. To be included in these directories, sign up on the POP page.

  • Professional Turners Directory. Helps customers, collectors and galleries find a woodturner based on types of turning and sales venues.
  • Demonstrator Directory helps AAW chapters to locate qualified individuals for demonstrations for chapter meetings and for regional symposiums.
  • Teacher Directory helps both the teachers and prospective students by sharing information that will further the education of woodturning.
  • Writer/Scholar Directory. allows writers and scholars to describe their articles, books or research.
  • Directory of Collectors. Allow galleries and individual turners to see the various interests of the collector.
  • Gallery Directory assists collectors and turners find galleries that specialize in turned art
