Alfred Selnick, New York, NY

SELNICK--Alfred. 93, of NYC and Hillsdale, NY, passed away on February 6, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Solomon). He is lovingly survived by his daughters Gail Wunsch and Barbara Bergrath. Cherished grandfather of Bryan Wunsch (Erin), and Kelly Hageman (Kurt) and their children Jake and Sam. Loving great-grandfather of Autumn Theresa Wunsch and Mason Alfred Wunsch, whom he adored. Devoted brother of the late Lester Selnick (Erna) and uncle and great- uncle to their six children their families with who he was very close to. "Al" graduated CCNY in 1955 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree, Magna Cum Laude. Within a few years he founded his initial firm, Alfred Selnick, P.E. P.C. and was a member of myriad engineering associations. His love of wood turning was always a topic of conversation and demonstrated through his elaborate workshop filled with his extensive collection of tools and equipment and the beautiful items he made as well as collected.
