Keith Ware, Louisville, KY
He was born in Columbus, Ohio but soon began his world tour. He
traveled all over the world, including Germany, the Philippines,
Iceland, and many US states with his parents, Bruce and Janie, and his
younger brother, Mark. After graduating from Belleville High School in
Illinois, he continued his educational journey at the Ohio State
University. While training the ROTC military drill team he met Becky,
who would soon be his wife. He received his Bachelors in Mathematics
after three years and went on to receive his Masters in Mathematics,
before leaving Ohio to start his Air Force career in Colorado, where his
son, Joshua, was born. After his service at Cheyenne Mountain, he
received a scholarship to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
where he earned his PhD in Operations Research and Systems Analysis
(ORSA). Keith and Becky then packed up and headed for Illinois where
Keith began his first ORSA job at Scott AFB. Three and a half years and
another child, Emily, later, Keith followed God's call to attend
seminary. Thus their arrival in Louisville. Keith attended Southern
Baptist Seminary, taught at Voyce Bible College, and worked at UPS for a
year and a half. When the need for sleep overtook him, he withdrew from
seminary, stopped teaching, and began working at UPS full-time. Keith
and Becky soon added a third child, Amanda, to the nest. This nest is
where he found his love for Boy Scouts, wood working, singing, and
welcomed his Granddaughter, Krislen, into his world. He lived out the
rest of his years surrounded by laughter, love, chaos, love, wood dust,
and more love.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane "Janie" Ware and by his son, Joshua Keith Ware.
Keith
is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky Ware, their children, Emily
Logan (James) and Amanda Ware and her fiancé, Juan Zárate. He is also
survived by his father, Bruce Ware, a brother, Mark Ware (Chrissie) and
his Granddaughter, Krislen Ware.
