Thomas Robbins Jr. passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the
age of 71. Tom died peacefully with his family by his side.
Tom was born on May 4, 1952, in Columbus Ohio to father Thomas Robbins and mother Grendlene Channey.
Tom met his soulmate, Debbie, when he was 14 years old. They married
at 18 on December 29,1970. They spent 53 wonderful years together. As
the years passed, their family grew. Tom is survived by his wife
Debbie, his daughter Tammy Veitch (spouse Fred) and son Tom Robbins III
(spouse Ingris) and his grandchildren Jessica, Cory, Cortney, Jordan,
Noah, Taina, Tatiana, Esteban, Angelica and his great grandchildren

Tom worked for Rinker Materials/Cemex for over 40 years and retired
in 2014. He had a successful career that started when he was just a
teenager at the local plant sweeping the yard and cleaning the office.
When he started working as an adult for the company, he learned to cut
steel and then moved on to driving mixer trucks and continued to move up
in the company to batchman and then on to managing his own plant. He
truly enjoyed his job and was a true “company man” and his family was
proud of his work ethic.
Tom was a quiet man. He worked hard and loved his family. He was
very proud of his children. He loved that his daughter made a career
change and they worked for the same company in 2005. He loved sharing
work stories with her. He was so proud of his son who learned the
electrical trade and they shared many projects together.
Tom was a Christian man who loved the Lord. He studied the bible
continually and loved sharing God’s word. He attended First Baptist of
West Palm Beach for many years and served as a greeter. He had a smile
and kind words to everyone who came into the church. He made everyone
feel welcomed.
Tom was a generous man and searched for ways to give to others. He often hid his generosity to be sure God received the glory.
